Long Time Gone

I'm not sure if this is the longest I've gone without posting, but so much has happened in the last month or so that it feels like a really long time.

To start at the beginning....I have moved to a different real estate company. I am now with the Outlaw Real Estate Group at Keller Williams. I'm really excited about the switch! It's great to have the support of a group again, and all of the people in the office have been very welcoming and willing to help. The other part of the reason for the switch is the excellent training. Keller Williams itself has a great training program, and I'm also participating in a program called 100 Days to Greatness with Buffini & Company. It is geared toward building your business by referral. So the combination of having support from a team and training has given me a new burst of energy.

Moving to a new company was the first big event, the second was spending four days volunteering at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival this past week. It was so much fun, and I'm so glad I finally had the time to do it! I was working on the Interactive Panels Crew, basically making sure that panelists got to their rooms on time and monitoring the room while they were speaking. The perks of volunteering include getting into the Film and Interactive Festivals for free. I heard a lot of great discussions on gaming, blogging, business, internet music, and on and on.

The last big event is that I finally have my website published! So check it out at www.KristenMeek.com and let me know what you think. Please keep in mind I'm not a professional....but I would really like to hear your opinions on what I got right and what needs to be fixed.

Cheers Everyone!
